What is The BSB Fairtrade Foundation?
The BSB Fairtrade Foundation is a association supported, created and run by students of BSB. This page keeps you updated with fun Games, Activities, Pictures, Information, Facts & More!!!

Competition
The reason why this Foundation was set up is because of the year 9 fairtrade challenge. The goal of this challenge was to promote fairtrade awereness around the school. The Project we are looking forward to is the Fair Trace Fortnight which promotes all kinds of fair trade activities.
Founders
The BSB Fairtrade Foundation was set up by group B from 9Je. The Team Leaders are Rian Ossendorp & Henry Jones, heads of Design; Mirei Takemasu & Archana Dugar, Heads of IT; Rian Ossendorp & Stephane Aries and head of Film; Henry Jones.
What is Fairtrade

A movement which strives for fair treatment for farmers. In a fair trade agreement, farmers, who in other situations might be more susceptible to the will of the purchaser, will negotiate with the purchasers in order to receive a fair price for their products. Farmers who engage in fair trade also aim to pay their workers a fair price, and engage in environmentally-friendly practices.
